PRODUCTION LOGOS

Countesthorpe Studios

Firstly I saved a copy of the Countesthorpe College logo and imported it on a black background in Fireworks.

In Fireworks I drew a path on a section of the logo's circumference, where I planned to attach the name of the company. The path was then made the same blue colour as the logo so it couldn't be seen by the audience.

Then I wrote out "Countesthorpe Studios" in a decent sized font and in white so it would stand out amid the blue background of the logo.
I then selected both the text and the path and selected the "Attach to Path" from the list of options from the "Text" menu.

This is how the finished logo looked when the text had been attached to the path.

Dynamic Vision Productions
For the simple "Dynamic Vision Productions" logo I firstly found and appropriate clip art image of an eye in order to represent the company.

Then I simply wrote the words "Dynamic," "Vision" and "Productions" and set them apart on the logo. Here is how it looked when completed.

Leicestershire Pictures
I was keen to represent the City of Leicester in my production opening, hence the name of my third media institution; "Leicestershire Pictures." To make the logo I found a simple outline of the City and drew around it with the pen tool.

I then copied the outline over to a plain black background, changed the outline to white and to a thicker weight so it stands out more.

Next, I found an appropriate image of an old-fashioned film camera and added to the middle of the outline. The use of a more older image connotes heritage and creates the impression of a professional media institution. Also the colour makes it stands out against the black background.

Finally I added black text to the centre of the media camera, it read "Leicestershire Pictures," which gives the logo a conventional and professional feel.
Here is what the final logo looked like
